Working for a used car lot is pretty difficult. There are long hours at the office or plant and the money is not very good. You have to sell a lot of cars for sale under 1000 dollars to get a decent paycheck. If you work many hours during the week and really push to sell as many cars as you can you might be able to make a living off selling the cars. Most of the people that come out to look at cars do just that; they look and do not buy. You can also make some money selling parts from some of the older cars. Then you have to watch people and make sure they only take what they are paying to take. There are lots of different people that look for used cars. Teenagers getting their first car, college students living on a shoe string budget and parents helping out their kids.
